CONCUR conducted an intensive facilitated workshop to devise and rank a series proposals to evaluate socioeconomic and environmental effects of oil and gas leasing on Gulf States. The workshop brought together 30 of the top social scientists in the nation. CONCUR worked directly with BLM program managers and senior faculty of Louisiana State University on the strategic and logistical planning for this event, and then chaired and facilitated the meeting. The event produced consensus agreement on over a dozen proposals.
