UC Berkeley and City of Berkeley: People’s Park Long Term Design and Use Plan

CONCUR facilitated an intensive community planning process to develop guidelines for the design, maintenance and operation of People’s Park, located just south of the UC Berkeley campus. The Park, which has been called one of the most contested 2.3 acre parcels of land in the United States, is owned by the University and managed jointly with the City. CONCUR worked with an 18-member advisory committee and facilitated a series of community meetings to generate advice to the University and City for the long term design and use of this urban park.
