Refuge Water Supply Interagency Cooperative Program (ICP) Stakeholder Involvement and Meeting Facilitation (1997-1998)
This project focused on developing guidance for achieving efficient water regimes in a dozen Sacramento Valley and San Joaquin Valley wetland reserves operated by federal and state governments and the Grassland Resource Conservation District. CONCUR designed and facilitated the meetings of the Refuge Water Supply ICP Task Force, which was comprised of 16 representatives of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the California Department of Fish and Game, and the Grassland Resource Conservation District. Members of the ICP Task Force actively participated in drafting and revising a guidance document, dated June 1, 1998, entitled “An Interagency Coordinated Program for Wetland Water Use Planning, Central Valley, California,” and committed to support its implementation.
