CONCUR served as facilitator and trainer for this US-AID funded initiative, lead by the Berkeley-based Natural Heritage Institute, aimed at strengthening the information base to support transboundary natural resource planning for the Okavango-Kubango River system. With a watershed rising in Angola, the Okavango flows through Namibia and terminates in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Other project partners include IUCN, the Namibian Nature Foundation, and Angola-based NGOs.
